Deborah K. Densberger, age 75, of Berwick passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at her home. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Berwick on August 6, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Gloria (Bronzburg) Lacomey. Deborah was a graduate of Berwick High School, class of 1968.
In 1977, she married the love of her life, David E. Densberger. She treasured every moment they spent together and felt blessed to have “the best husband”. They celebrated 48 years of marriage this past September.
Debbie had deep faith in the Lord. Over the years, she had several health issues including breast cancer in 1999. She always gave praise to her Lord and Savior for surviving. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Bloomsburg and former member of Berwick Assembly of God. For 15 years, she volunteered with many of the children’s programs including Sunday School, VBS, Missionettes and Pre-school. She loved putting treat bags together for the Sunday School children and her children’s classes.
She was on the high school reunion committee from 1978 to 1993. Planning big events was one of her talents and it showed as she planned many anniversary, graduation and birthday parties, baby showers, and church fellowship gatherings at their home.
In addition to her husband, Dave, she will be greatly missed by her loving daughters, Kelly Jo Magnuson and husband Craig, Selinsgrove; and Lori Lowery and husband Brian, Nescopeck. She loved spending time with her adored grandchildren, Donovan, Kailyn, Landon, and Korryn Magnuson, Branden and Trisha Lowery, and Amanda Rakowski; and 6 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother, Joseph Lacomey, Louisville, KY; a sister, Jolene Moracco and husband Jeff, Ephrata; and nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jesse and Billy Kerchner.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 706 Central Road, Bloomsburg, with her pastor John Kolenda officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.
