Andrew W. Schultz, age 61of Beach Haven passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Bloomsburg.
Born in Bloomsburg on January 2, 1965, he was the son of Tanya M. (Bitler) DeMott of Stillwater and the late Charles W. Schultz. He was a 1982 graduate of Millville High School and Williamsport Vo-Tech. Andrew enlisted with the U.S. Navy and served from 1983 until he retired after 20 years of service. After an honorable discharge, he worked at TB Woods in Chambersburg and was currently employed at Talon Industries, Berwick for the past 18 years.
Andrew was a gun enthusiast. He loved spending time at the shooting range and participated in competitive shooting. He was a member of the Mainville Sportsman’s Club and USPSA. He liked gaming and played World of Warcraft with his wife. He enjoyed backyard grilling and smoking different meats and cheeses. He loved listening to rock music, especially Ozzy Osbourne and Kiss.
In 2006, he married the love of his life, Gretchen S. (Creasy) Schultz, whom he dated in high school. They would have celebrated 20 years of marriage this October. In addition to his wife and mother, he will be greatly missed by his children, Devin Schultz and wife Alexia, Buckhorn; Brent Davis, Berwick; Sasha Hamilton and fiancé Elvis, Bloomsburg; Dustin Schultz and fiancée Anna, St Clair; Dylan Schultz, Mifflinville; and Heidi Schultz, Beach Haven; grandchildren, Emily, Isaiyah, Annabelle, Alex, Jayda, Addien, Kylie, Irene, Carter and Joey. He is also survived by his sister, Candy Bogert and husband Ernie, Stillwater; a niece; nephews; aunts and uncles including Helen Moore, and several cousins.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Roy Bitler; and an uncle, Ken Moore.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Military honors will be performed at 6:00 pm with a time of sharing.
