Ronnie Shane Hess (known to family and friends as Shane) passed away suddenly on January 28, 2026.
He was born in 1971 and was 54 years old. He was the son of the late Ronnie L Hess and Donna Reichard Doud. Shane resided in Bloomsburg, PA for most of his life, with a period of several years spent in Northern California. As a child in Bloomsburg, he played Little League baseball for many years, an experience that contributed to his lifelong appreciation for community and outdoor activities.
He is survived by his children: Daughters: Shayna Hess Ruzicka and Stevi Hess along with their mother Pamela Hess, and 4 grandchildren, who reside in Iowa; a son, Cyrus Hess along with his mother Rachael Gordner of Berwick. He also leaves behind his sister, Shannon Hess Houseweart, his brother, Michael Hess, a nephew and niece.
Shane worked as a contractor throughout much of his life. He held a deep passion for hunting and fishing, and he was a dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
In accordance with his earlier request, all services and events related to his passing will remain private.
