Donna C. Shemonis, age 64, of Berwick passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at her home.
Born in Berwick on July 25, 1961, she was a graduate of Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School, class of 1979. For many years she was employed at Proctor and Gamble.
Donna was an active member of LCBC church in Wilkes-Barre. She was very involved with ovarian cancer awareness. She enjoyed quilting and putting Legos together, especially during her treatments. She loved animals, especially her cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Joanne I (Shoemaker) Morrison; and Mary Gerhard; and her significant other, Brian Miller who passed away in 2024.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Emily A. Shemonis of Plymouth; and Tara M. Shemonis and companion Brian McCracken of Berwick; a cherished grandson Declan; sister, Shonda Artman and husband Matthew, Dillsburg; brother, Perry Morrison and wife Suzie, Ephrata; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
