William “Bill” H. Boston, age 70, of Nescopeck, passed away on Friday April 17, 2026, at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Health Care, Berwick.
Born in Berwick on February 22, 1956, he was a son of the late Henry A. and Dolores L. (Sorber) Boston. He was a graduate of Columbia Montour Area Vocational Technical School, class of 1974. He worked at the Columbia County Prison as a Lieutenant for 26 years before retiring in 2021.
Bill was a life member of the Berwick Christian Church. He loved riding his motorcycle and horses. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and on nice days enjoyed golfing and carnivals. He loved spending time with his family the most.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 38 years, Kimberly A. (Kessler) Boston; children: Heather Boston and life long partner, Rich Burd, Nescopeck; Amanda Dewire, Jonestown; Amy Boston, Mountain Top; Jessica Boston, Pittson; Garet Boston and wife Courtney, Connecticut; and Eric Laidacker, Nescopeck; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sister, Charlene Packey and husband Bill, Berwick.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at the Berwick Christian Church, 701 E. Fifth Street, Berwick. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends, Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St. Nescopeck.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Berwick Christian Church.
