Charles L. Yost, age 74, of Berwick passed away suddenly on July 16, 2026. His family was by his side.
Born in Wilson, PA on September 28, 1951, he was a son of the late Allen and Janet (Knorr) Yost. He graduated from Easton High School and served in the US Army from January 1973 until March 1986. After an honorable discharge, he became an over the road truck driver. Over the years, he worked for various companies, until retiring about 14 years ago.
Charles had a laid-back personality and enjoyed a quiet life. He was a devoted father and husband. In his free time, he liked reading and listening to music. He also loved riding his motorcycle.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Kim Rossman and companion Clyde Sterner, Berwick; and son, Dwayne Yost and wife Jennifer, Freeland; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind brother, David Yost and wife Dena, Bethlehem; sister, Lili Yost, Lehigh; brothers-in-law, John Miller Jr, Slabtown; and George Miller, Berwick; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is reunited with his beloved wife of 53 years, Sharon L. Yost, who preceded him in death this past October; a daughter, Margaret Schlack; and a granddaughter, Allison Matz.
Keeping with Charles’s request, there will be no public services.
