Daniel “Danny” Deputy, age 48, of Nescopeck passed away on Friday July 24, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Philadelphia on June 9, 1978, he was the son of Ronald T. Deputy and wife Anna, Bear Creek and Donna L. (Forsyth) Stahl and husband Kevin, Berwick. He graduated from Columbia Montour Vo-Tech. He was employed at Legett Platt and later Decorator Industries. Currently, he was working at the Dollar Tree Warehouse.
Danny was an avid hunter and fisherman. He has so many memories of being at the powder hole and council cup. He was a huge Philadelphia Phillies fan and attended as many games as possible with his co-workers. Danny never stopped smiling, even on the bad days.
In addition to his parents, he will be greatly missed by sister, Jeannette Deputy, Berwick; stepbrothers, Nathan Stahl; Mathew Stahl and wife Christina; and nieces and nephews, Britney Martin and husband Dan, Kaitlyn Hinchliffe and Chase Hinchliffe. He also leaves behind a son, Jacob.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Deputy and his companion, Ronny Obrien.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on September 12, 2026, at Jeannettes Home, 403 Moores Hill Road, Berwick, Pennsylvania. Heller Funeral Home LLC, Nescopeck is assisting his family.
