Lona E. Andreas, age 82, of Nescopeck, went to be with her lord and savior on Wednesday September 2, 2026, at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Berwick.
Born in Berwick on July 16, 1944, she was a daughter of the late John and Esther (Harman) Naugle. She was a graduate of Central Columbia High School, class of 1962. She worked for Wilkes Pools, Nescopeck and later, worked for Kmart as a cashier until early retirement.
Lona was a lifelong member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Zenith. She was always involved with helping the church with dinners. She liked crocheting, sewing and shopping on QVC. She enjoyed riding her jazzy around the neighborhood and going to the Senior Center, Berwick. She loved her dog, Rosie, she was with her all the time.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Tracy Winn and husband Randy, Nescopeck; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, especially Madison and Hailey who were always by her side. She also leaves behind a daughter Tina, and 2 sisters, Linda and Pam.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert W. Andreas who passed in 2019; son Tim Andreas; and Babygirl Andreas in infancy.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday September 8, 2026, at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 E Third Street, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Zenith. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.
