Mark E. Weidner, age 62, of Drums passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 24, 2026, at his home.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 14, 1963, he was a son of Charlene R. Samsel and husband Lee, Nescopeck and the late Edward J. Weidner. He worked for all different types of musical festivals as a stage and sound manager.
Mark was a former member of the Garibaldi Society #4 in Berwick. He loved music and played guitar, he also enjoyed going to music festivals. He was a jack of all trades, a social butterfly, and would assist anybody in need, however he was able.
In addition to his mother, he will be greatly missed by his son and his partner, Zachary Weidner and Joshua Thew, Danville; and his sister, Jill Weidner Mowery from Berwick, who jokingly loved that her brother could make “any short story long.”
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his Aunt Betty Freburger.
A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
