Diane L. Cragle, age 60, of Mifflinville, passed away peacefully at home, on Tuesday September 29, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 21, 1966, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Jerome N. and Eleanor I. (Burd) Cragle. She was a graduate of Central Columbia High School, Class of 1984, and attended LCCC. She was employed at Berwick Industries for several years.
Diane was member of St. Marks Union Church, Pond Hill. She also attended the Berwick VFW. She enjoyed thrift shopping with her daughter and would be greatly satisfied if she found a good deal. Diane liked going to listen to live music any chance she got. She loved to sing, especially Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus, who were her inspirations to sing karaoke.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved children: Lisa A. Slusser, Pittston; son, Thomas M. Slusser, Jr., Hunlock Creek; and daughter, Angela M. Cragle with whom she resided; cherished grandchildren, Willow Fox, Presley Fox, Sadie Fox, Sylas Slusser, Asher Brown, and Juno Brown. She also leaves behind brothers, Jerome N. Cragle of Mifflinville; and Jeffrey A. Cragle of Nescopeck.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Mifflinville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
