Clifford T. Burgess III
, 66, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at his home.Born in Philadelphia on October 12, 1949, he was the son of the late June Blossom (Fleener) and Clifford Thomas Burgess II. He was a graduate of Council Rock High School in Bucks County. He was employed at Columbia County Redevelopment, then as a CAD operator for Dupont, after which, he was a driver for Amish Construction crews in Lancaster County. He worked as a cook at HACC College, then Heart of Lancaster Medical Center, until his retirement in 2011.

Cliff was a member of the VFW Post 804, Bloomsburg and the American Legion Post 273, Bloomsburg. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his daughters and granddaughters. He loved hunting and fishing, and spent time working on the computer. He was an avid Eagles fan, and was thrilled to cheer them on to a win over the Patriots last week.

He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Mary Burgess, and Rachel Martin, both of the Lititz area; adored granddaughters, Hannah and Leah; brothers, John A. Burgess, and Robert J. Burgess; sister, Bonnie Burgess Malloy; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Heller Funeral Home, Nescopeck, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. Interment will be private in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg.
