Sandra A. Shultz, 
71 of Berwick went home with her Lord on Monday, March 14, 2016, at her home, surrounded by family.

Born in Shamokin on July 5, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Genevieve “Jean” A. (Zarramba) Chernago. She attended school in Shamokin, and earned her cosmetology certification in 1964. She retired from Heinz Pet Products, where she was employed for over 28 years.

Church was a large part of Sandy’s life. She was an active member of LCBC, Berwick, where she volunteered her time to many community service organizations. She enjoyed gardening and shopping. Sandy considered her greatest accomplishments to be, “Raising four wonderful children, and becoming closer to God my savior.”

She will be greatly missed by her children: daughters, Karen Frye and husband Tim, Greensburg, PA; Brenda Titus and husband Shawn, Shickshinny; sons, Scott Everett, Berwick; Jonathon Shultz and wife Amber, York, PA; cherished grandchildren, Gregory, Daniel and Michael Cesare; Dylan, Ashlynn and Aiden Everett; Jeremy Creasy; Alyssa, Kara, and Shawn “Hunter” Titus; Chase and Reese Shultz. She also leaves behind her brothers, Ronald Chernago and wife Carol; Steve Chernago and wife Holly, all of Shamokin; and nieces and nephews.

Sandy was preceded in death by a daughter at birth, and husband Howard L. Shultz.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 18, 2016 at LCBC, 20 Kachinka Hollow Road, Berwick. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
