Janet Louise Kline, 82, of Bloomsburg passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Geisinger Bloomsburg Health Care Center.
Born in Hetlerville on December 25, 1933, she was the oldest of 10 children born to the late C. Dale and Winifred (Slusser) McMurtrie. She was a graduate of Mifflinville High School and was employed at Wise Potato, Berwick.
Janet was a member of Almedia Bible Church, Bloomsburg. She enjoyed spending her winters in her home in Florida, and gardening. She was especially proud of her flower beds which she poured a lot of love into.
She will be greatly missed by daughters, Sheila Reynolds and husband, Mike Basala; Barbara Kline and companion Craig Cool; sons, Ernest Kline and wife Ginger, Ricky Kline and wife Cheryl; Ronald Kline and wife Anita; 23 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband, Royce Adam Kline and grandson, James Reynolds.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM from Heller Funeral Home, LLC., 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, PA 18635. Her son, Rick will officiate. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
