Harry Roland Wynings, Sr, 
83, of Berwick passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2016 at home.

Born in Main Township on July 12, 1932, he was the son of the late Logan and Edith (Singley) Wynings. He graduated from Berwick High School and served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955. After an honorable discharge, he was employed at several local businesses including the Brick Yard in Mifflinville, and Wise Potato Chip, Berwick. Most recently he worked at Consolidated Cigar, Berwick and McAdoo, until his retirement.

He enjoyed hunting and gardening. He spent many hours wood-crafting, making things such as furniture and cabinets, as well as other items which he would give to family and friends as gifts. He also liked collecting Marlboro Miles and trading them in for merchandise.

He will be greatly missed by his children: Harry R. Wynings, Jr and wife Ida, Mechanicsburg; Terry Wynings and wife Angela, Berwick; Cindy Shemesh, Bloomsburg; Randy Wynings and wife Peggy, West Hazleton; Tammy Roman, NC; Bryan Wynings and wife Deb, MN; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Doyle Wynings and wife Wava, Berwick; sister, Martha Franklin, Bloomsburg and several caregivers, including Rhonda.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Alvin, Arnold, Theodore, Claire, and Earl; and sister, Rachel.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick.
