Maggie Mae Weisbrod

Maggie Mae Weisbrod, 37, of Berwick passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 4, 2016 at her home. She had been in failing health since 2010.

Born in Sayre, PA on May 23, 1978, she was the daughter of Arlene M. (Parsons) Benjamin of Nescopeck, and Jeffery Benjamin. She was a graduate of Berwick High School and received her Message Therapy Certification through Allied Medical School, Forty-Fort. She was employed at R.R. Donnelly, Bloomsburg until her health began to fail.

Maggie liked working on jigsaw and crossword puzzles, as well as reading. On occasion she would accompany her husband to activities at West Berwick Hose Company. Her greatest pride and delight was being a mom to her two sons.

In addition to her mother, she will be greatly missed by her cherished sons, Steven M. Weisbrod Jr. and Jonathan D. Weisbrod; fiancé, Sam Sisler; brother, Jeffery W. Benjamin and fiancé Celeste Bankes, Bloomsburg; adored nephew, Evan M. Benjamin; several aunts and uncles including, Althea Stout, Kim Rathbun, Joe Parsons, and Greg Parsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven M. Wiesbrod Sr. in 2014, maternal grandparents, Eugene J. and Althea I. Parsons; paternal grandparents, Jan and Emily Benjamin; and uncle, Scott J. Parsons.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, with Sharing of Memories at 6:00 PM.
