Nancy J. Golembewski, 75, of Shickshinny passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Plymouth Township on June 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Walter E. and Anna H. (Krystofik) Evans. She graduated from Harter High School. Nancy was a devoted wife and mother who worked hard to provide a warm and loving home for her family.
She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, Hunlock Creek. She had an extensive collection of movies that she enjoyed watching. Nancy had several different pins she accumulated from different places she visited, or that were given to her as gifts by others, which she cherished.
Nancy will be greatly missed by her loving husband, John J. Golembewski; sons, Tim Golembewski and companion Brianna, Drums; Jeff Golembewski and wife Dorthea, Shickshinny; adored grandchildren, Sarah Troy, and Doug Golembewski; and her loyal mini pinscher “Penny”.
At Nancy’s request, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place with her parents in Edge Hill Cemetery, West Nanticoke.
