Carrie E. Ryman, 82, formerly of Bell Bend Road, Berwick, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Berwick Retirement Village II, where she had been residing for the past 2 years.
Born in Berwick on March 13, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Pearl (Iddings) Cragle. She attended Berwick High School. In her early years, she worked in local factories, and with her husband, Donald, on the family farm until his death in 1973. She retired from Andres Greenhouses, Nescopeck.
Carrie was a member of Beach Haven United Methodist Church. Her favorite pass times were crossword puzzles and wood crafting. She also liked square dancing. Her greatest love was her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Ryman; daughter, Donna E. Ryman; and companion, Howard Campbell.
She will be greatly missed her sons, Chris Ryman and wife Kim, Berwick; Wayne Ryman and wife Teresa, Danville; grandchildren, Mandy Ryman Ball; Shawn Ryman; Ian Ryman; Ashley Ryman; Eric Ryman; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Clarence Cragle, Florida; Delbert “Duane” Cragle, Orangeville; Bruce Cragle and wife Sandy, Berwick; sister, Loretta Horner, Muncy; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 7, 2017 in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Church Road, Nescopeck Township, with Pastor James Stanley officiating.
