Donna E. Perkoski, 74, of Berwick passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Bloomsburg on May 5, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Alvin W. Benshoff and Dorethea E. (Klinger) Kremser and her husband Guy Kremser. She was a graduate of Central Columbia High School and Wilkes-Barre School of Nursing where she earned her nursing degree. She was employed at Berwick Hospital as an LPN for many years, then worked in several doctor’s offices until she retired.
Donna was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Berwick. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, reading and crossword puzzles. She loved her cats, “Carter” and “Callie”.
She will be greatly missed by her loving children: Joseph Perkoski and wife Lynne, Berwick; Christine Bardo, Myrtle Beach, SC; Jennifer Zeisloft and husband Stephen, Sugarloaf; grandchildren, Justin Disidoro and Alysha Ragone; and great grandson, Michael Disidoro. She was looking forward to the birth of a second great grandson, Layton Pagliaro this summer. She also leaves behind her brothers, Guy “Butch” Kremser and wife Roxanne, Catawissa; Randy Kremser and wife Audrey, Catawissa; sister, Carla Parks and husband Ron, Bloomsburg; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jordan Tironie; and brother, Terry Benshoff.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Ber-Vaughn Park, 6084 Park Road, Berwick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck to help defray her final expenses.
