Eloise M. (Lynn) Slusser, 92, of Berwick, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on January 22, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Thomas S. and Margaret E. (Holter) Lynn. She attended Mifflinville Consolidated Schools. Eloise worked at several local businesses including, Wise Potato, the AC&F, Consolidated Cigar, and Revco Drugs.
Known as “Tippy” to many, she was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and was a past president of State District 14. She loved her family and put them above everything else. In her spare time, she enjoyed visiting yard sales and playing BINGO. She also liked to garden.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Shirley A. Felker, Berwick; grandchildren, Bryce Felker and wife Crystal, Berwick; Blake Felker, Bethlehem; Amanda Zwolkuski and husband Brandon, Bloomsburg; great-grandchildren, Cody Felker and wife Brooke, Stillwater; Tessa Felker, Hetlerville; Grace Felker, Bethlehem; Zoey Zwolkuski, and Zachary Zwolkuski; great-great grandchildren, Trent, Meko, and Creed Felker; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orval D. “Reds” Slusser in August 1985; son, Dennis W. Slusser in March 2016; son-in-law, Gordon “Skip” Felker; brothers, Robert, Donald, Atwood, Thomas, Ralph, and David Lynn; and sister, Freda “Janice” Berger.
