Joseph. J. Williamoski, Jr.

Joseph J. Williamoski, Jr., 60, of Berwick passed away on December 20, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on July 29, 1957 in Patchogue, NY, he was a son of the late Joseph J. Williamoski, Sr. and Alice (Roland) Schuler. He was raised and educated in Long Island, NY. Joseph worked as a cook for a catering business for many years. In the late 90’s, he was employed at Perkins until becoming disabled.

He was an avid fan of the New York Mets and New York Jets. He enjoyed playing poker, fishing, and cooking.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 32 years, Lisa A. (McGlinchey) Williamoski; daughters: Nicole Allen and husband Chris, Berwick; Tarra Williamoski, Berwick; Alison Williamoski and companion Jordan Nevius, Berwick; grandchildren: Adriana; Greenlee; and Lucas; sisters: April Viggiano, Florida; Pearle Williamoski, New York; Betty Flores, Arizona; Debbie Sohl, Florida; Denise Beller, Florida; Judy Tatun, Florida; brothers: John Sohl, New York; Charles Schuler, Danville; Willie Schuler, Florida; Andy Williamoski, Berwick; numerous nieces and nephews; and Carrie Hess whom he helped raise.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Jacqueline Schuler; sisters: Flo Cohan; and Cindy Gallagher; and brother, George Sohl.

A celebration of life will be held on January 13, 2018 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at the Elks Lodge, 117 West 2nd Street, Berwick.
