Nicole D. Ruckle, 50, of Berwick passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at her home.
Born on November 10, 1970, in Berwick she was a daughter of Sandra L. (Sorce) McCloskey of Venice, Florida and Rodney C. Derr of Orlando, Florida. She graduated from Berwick High School and most of her adult life she worked as a waitress and bartender.
Nicky loved dancing and attended dance classes for jazz, ballet and advanced dance. She also liked making jewelry. She was very outgoing and had a big heart. She was also very giving and would never hesitate to lend a hand or home to anyone in need.
In addition to her parents, she will be greatly missed by her daughter, Cassandra Killian and husband Dakota, Beach Haven; son, Nicholas Farrell, Nescopeck; grandsons, Carson and Daxton; sisters: Barbara Romeo and husband Marc, Tampa, FL; Dee Dee Kaufman and husband Todd, Auburndale, FL; Dea Fulgham, Catawissa; and nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her stepfather, Dan McCloskey; stepmother, Elsa Derr; former stepmother, Barbara Hart who helped raise her; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; beloved friend, Edgar Farrell, Berwick; and lifelong friend, Gary Groshek, Nescopeck.
A private viewing was held at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck. A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the American Ukrainian Citizen’s Club, 1222 Freas Avenue, Berwick starting at 4:00 PM.
