Harold L. Daum, Sr., 81, of Berwick, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born on May 2, 1940, in Shickshinny Valley, he was a son of the late Cecil and Hannah (Hogg) Daum. He attended Northwest High School. Harold worked at Wise Potato Chip as a packer and later at Heinz, and G&B Specialties.
He enjoyed the outdoors and liked to go camping, fishing, and hunting. He also liked to do crossword puzzles. Harold’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was dearly loved by them, and he will be deeply missed.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, with whom he recently celebrated 35 years of marriage on October 18, Cynthia E. (Bartleson) Daum, at home; children: Harold Daum, Jr. and companion Debra Sponenberg, Berwick; Tammy Paull and husband Greg, York Springs; Tracy Larizzio and husband Jack, Shenandoah; Randal Daum, Sr. and wife Beth, Berwick; Brenda Nevel and husband Larry, Jr., Berwick; Beth Cragle and husband Brandon Sponenberg, Berwick; 33 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren. He was known as “Pap”, to many. He also leaves behind a brother, John Daum, Sr., Sweet Valley, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Cragle, Jr.; brothers, Theodore Winders, Sr. and Paul Daum, Sr.; sisters, Minnie Gonsecki, Viola Willis, Cora Daum, and Martha Hutchinson.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, followed by a Time of Sharing beginning at 4:00.
