Clifford C. Lutz, Sr.

Clifford C. Lutz, Sr, 80, of Berwick, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Born in Berwick on January 2, 1942, he was a son of the late Nathan and Ruth (Snyder) Lutz. He graduated from Berwick High School. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army National Guard. Clifford was a welder and worked for Argo until it closed. He later worked the Berwick Area School District until he retired in 2006. Most recently he was working part time at Boyers Food Market, Berwick for the last 15 years.

He was a member of Evansville United Methodist Church. Clifford liked to do crossword puzzles in his free time. He enjoyed being outside as much as possible. He loved to spend time with his friends and family. He especially enjoyed the fishing trips they would take together.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Donna (Kishbaugh) Lutz; daughter, Ronda Gaizick and husband Ed, Berwick; grandchildren, James Gaizick; Rachel Gaizick and fiancé Patrick Gregory. He also leaves behind brothers, John Lutz, Berwick; Frank Lutz and wife Gail, Millville; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Col. Clifford C. Lutz, Jr.; sisters, Helen Jeffery, and Martha Wert.

At his request there will be no public services.
