Lorraine McLaughlin, 86, of Bloomsburg passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Susquehanna Valley Home Health, Comfort Cottage, in Bloomsburg.
Born in Centralia on December 27, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Raymond H. and Ruth F. (Mayer) Williams. She was a graduate of Catawissa High School, class of 1953.
On September 5, 1955, she married Dwight McLaughlin who preceded her in death in September 2009.
She worked at 2 factories in Catawissa and then was employed at Knoebles Amusement Park for 27 years.
Lorraine attended Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Elysburg where she took care of the nursery for 30 years.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jim “Steck” Williams in 2018; a 2 ½ year old nephew; a niece who died 8 months ago; a brother-in-law, Lee McLaughlin and his wife Sue.
She will be greatly missed by a daughter, Colleen McLaughlin, Catawissa; a sister-in-law, Marian Williams of Elysburg; 1 niece and 3 nephews, who were very close to her; as well as many great nieces and great nephews.
A private memorial service will be held this spring at the convenience of her family.
