John A. Suchowierski, 80, of Berwick passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Glen Brook Rehabilitation Center, Berwick, where he was a patient for the past year.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on June 13, 1941, he was the only child of the late John R. and Edna (Shedlo) Suchowierski. He was raised and educated in the Plymouth area.
John enjoyed living by the lake in Stevensville and sail boating.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stella (Perkowski) Suchowierski in 2005; his son Tony Suchowierski in 2005; and grandson, Jeremy Naugle.
He is survived by a son, Joseph Suchowierski, Wilkes-Barre; daughter, Ann Naugle and husband Joseph Sr, Orangeville; grandchildren, Kaflyn Lambert, Canada; Joseph Naugle Jr, Harrisburg; Kimberly Naugle and Krystina Naugle, both of Orangeville; and 1 great granddaughter, Hailey Naugle.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, PA 18635 to help defray his final expenses.
