Dale James Baker, 19, of Berwick passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, in Nescopeck. Born in Berwick on June 24, 2003, he was a son of Rebecca A. (Daubert) and Harold R. Baker III of Berwick. He graduated from Berwick High School in May of 2021. Dale was very helpful to the people around him, and in the community, with lawn maintenance and snow shoveling. Since Dale was a small child, he dreamed of becoming a fire fighter. He started with the junior fire fighter program, and as soon as he was old enough became a full member of the Nescopeck Volunteer Fire Co #1. He also had hoped to join the Reliance Fire Co #1 and was recently inducted as a full member. In addition to his parents, he will be greatly missed by sisters, Danielle Baker, Berwick; Jacqueline Creasy and fiancé and D’Artagnan Wright, Berwick; brothers: Christian Baker, Berwick; Harold Baker IV, Jim Thorpe; Timothy Baker, Palmerton; Freddy Baker, Jim Thorpe; and Tyler Baker, Shamokin; nieces: Melissa Baker; Katelyn Baker; and Olivia Creasy; nephews: Jacob Britton; Julian Daubert; Everett Daubert; Nathaniel Daubert; and Grayson Houtz; aunts and uncles: Joy Creegan and husband Michael; Michelle Trumper-Williams; Lillian Chiger and husband John; Violet Kessler and companion Richard Snyder; Melissa Sebastian; Harold Baker IV; James Daubert Sr and wife Lisa; David Daubert Jr; Franklin Hons; and Steven Daubert, who is also Godfather; many cousins including Alishia Trout and her son Joshua Trout; Godmother, Amanda Daubert; and numerous extended family members and friends. He also leaves to cherish his memory his girlfriend and the light of his life, Allison Conn and her son, Austin. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Susan (Hons) Daubert Sr; Harold and Lillian (Hughes) Baker Jr; brother, Anthony Daubert in 2020; and sister, Star Baker who passed away along with him; as well as a nephew, Aiden Daubert; cousins, Ariana and Bradley Trout; uncle, Brian Daubert; and aunt, Shannon Daubert. He is also preceded by his uncle, Charles Williams; aunts, Patricia Young; Geraldine Smith; great aunt, Linda Weisbrod and cousin, Alice Chiger. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third St, Nescopeck. A memorial service, with Reverend Daniel Warntz officiating, will be held immediately after, followed by a procession through Berwick ending at the Nescopeck Fire Hall on Warren Street, where a reception will be held.
