Mitchell E. Hummel, age 27, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, in Danville.
Born on March 18, 1995, in Berwick he was the son of Adrian P. Hummel of Milton and Angela S. (Mowery) Hummel, Berwick. He was a graduate of Berwick High School, class of 2013. He worked at several local businesses, including Grandview Nursing Home and most recently, the Weis Distribution Center, Danville.
Mitchell liked listening to music, his favorite band was “Bring Me the Horizon”. He loved riding motorcycles and was a fast car enthusiast, golfing (undefeated with Eric as partner), playing pool, 4 wheeling, and going to concerts. He also loved hanging out with his friends and family.
In addition to his father Adrian and wife Rhonda, and mother Angela and her significant other Joe Meyers, he will be greatly missed by his sister, Courtney Hummel and companion Mathew Brown, Lock Haven; brother, Torrence Hummel, Milton; nephew, Beckham Brown; paternal grandmother, Linda D. (Kowalczyk) Hummel; maternal grandparents, Robert and Carol (Remley) Mowery; Great Grandmother Mary Remley, Berwick: Aunt and Uncles, Kimberly Sipler and husband Chris Lindsay, Berwick; Joshua Mowery and wife Emily, Berwick; Robert Mowery ll, Berwick; Eric Hummel and companion Kristen Procopio, Coal Township; several cousins including; Allie Sipler, Ryker Mowery, Molly Mowery, Gia Morgan, and great aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul K. Hummel, Maternal great grandparents Elwood and Dorothy Mowery and Terry Remley.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third St, Nescopeck. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family.
