Norma J. (Creveling) Andreas, 87, of Stillwater, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 15, 2022, in Bonham Nursing and Rehab.
Born in Stillwater on February 11, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Harriet L. (Exstrand) and Zed Creveling. She graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1952. After graduating high school, she worked as a switchboard operator for Bloomsburg Hospital and then worked as a secretary for Welliver’s Auto Parts. She went on to marry her husband, Elwood A. Andreas, in January of 1956. After they married, she spent her time as a homemaker.
Norma was an avid reader. She also enjoyed playing scrabble, bird watching, and being with her family.
She will be greatly missed by her children: Kathy Kelchner and husband Steve, Nescopeck; Kay Kelchner and husband Lee, Millville; Keith Andreas and wife Dianne, York; Kirk Andreas and wife Dawn, Stillwater; grandchildren: Adam, Toby, Kelly, Elizabeth, Amber, Eric, and Cory; great granddaughters Morgan and Breanna; siblings Dale Creveling and wife Dealia, Stillwater and Sonya Westover and husband David, Lightstreet; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband of 52 years, she was preceded in death by her sister Yvonne Boudman.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, Stillwater.
