Emery E. Seeley, 91, of Berwick, passed away on October 4, 2022, at Sunset Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Bloomsburg.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on August 16, 1931, he was the son of the late Charles E. Seeley and Lela Dornblazer. He attended school in Nescopeck. He was self-employed in construction for many years and also worked for Tom Ross, Berwick Industries, and Dyco.
Emery was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Berwick. In his spare time, he loved restoring John Deere tractors and going to tractor shows.
He will be greatly missed by his sons, Emery “James” Seeley and wife Barbara, Berwick; Wayne Seeley and companion Jim Rabideau, Champlain, NY. daughter, Alice M. Seeley, Forked River, NJ. 2 grandsons, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice H. (Siesko) Seeley, in 2010; daughter, June Seeley, in 2009; and sisters, Lela Scott and Kathryn Sitler.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E. Third St, Nescopeck, immediately followed by a funeral service. His pastor, Reverend Troy Spencer will officiate. A viewing will also be held from 9:30 to 10:30 on Monday, October 10, 2022, followed by interment at 11:00 AM in Elan Memorial Park, Old Berwick Rd, Bloomsburg.
