Rebecca Robbins Vosburg Schwab, 49, of Briar Creek Twp, unexpectedly departed this life on Monday, November 21, 2022.
Born in Berwick on November 28, 1972, she was the youngest daughter of the late William G. and Helen (Stuka) Robbins.
Becky had a tumultuous marriage with Robert Vosburg. Although it ended, it resulted in two of the greatest loves of her life, her son Maximus “Max” Vosburg and her daughter Poviel Vosburg.
She met the love of her life, Michael Schwab, by pinching him on the butt. This initial “love” tap resulted in 15 years of mutual love, respect, admiration, joy, and fun. They enjoyed regular adventures together and loved Notre Dame football.
Becky loved kids. After graduating from Berwick High School in 1990, she worked as a nanny. After gaining her academic degree at L.C.C.C, she continued her career at New Story as an Academic and Behavior Support Staff Technician, where she was currently employed. She loved her work family and her students even more. She was always ready to share stories and often on “fun” days it was hard to determine who was having the best time, Becky or her students.
In addition to her husband and children, Becky “Boo” was loved by her seven siblings and is survived by four older sisters, Jennie McGrail and husband Joe; Karen Taylor and husband Charlie; Susan Marshall and husband Jeff; Sally Robbins Evans; three brothers, William “Billy” G. Robbins Jr; David Robbins and wife Joellen; Stanley Robbins and wife Eileen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including her beloved nieces, Elizabeth Gearinger and Carrie Lawes.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E. Third St, Nescopeck.
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to, Asperger/Autism Network (AANE), 85 Main Street, Suite 3, Watertown, MA 02472. Please keep Becky’s family in your prayers during this difficult season of adjustment.
