Jennings W. Lynn, Jr, age 85, of Berwick passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Glen Brook Nursing and Rehab, Berwick
Born in Berwick on January 16, 2023, he was a son of the late Jennings W and Helen M (Mason) Lynn. He was raised and educated in Berwick. He served in the US Air Force from 1955 to 1958. For over 15 years, he worked as a welder at the A C & F. He also worked at US Steel, Berwick Forge, Confairs, and Pepsi Co.
Skip was a born-again Christian who was Bible believing and lived by its words. He was a model train enthusiast and had a vast collection of trains. He also liked fly fishing and spent time tying his own flies.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Colette P. (Houde) Lynn; sons, Kevin J Lynn and wife Lisa, Palmyra; David S Lynn and wife Charity, Berwick; Daryl “Skip” Lynn, Berwick; 5 grandchildren, Kevin, Nicole, Timothy, Angel, Christina; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lynn; and sister, Nancy Lynn.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Burial will follow in Summer Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
