Dorothy M. Deibert, age 86, of Danville passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Berwick.
Born in Danville on June 17, 1937, she was a daughter of the late James L. and Tressa M. (Temple) Richeldifler. She was a graduate of Central Columbia Joint School. She worked at Danville Cabinet Works and retired from Bloomsburg Mills, Inc.
Dorothy attended LCBC Columbia-Montour, Bloomsburg. She enjoyed playing shuffleboard with her husband and travelling to visit with his family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 56 years, Edward N. Deibert, Jr. who passed on March 22, 2016; brothers, William Thomas and wife Shirley; Charles Thomas and wife Katheryn; James Richeldifler; and brother-in-law, Earl Hidlay.
She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Frances Hidlay, Stillwater; Ruth McMurtrie, Berwick; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third St, Nescopeck with Pastor Dawes Dunham officiating. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
