Edna M. Jubinski, age 89, of Millville passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at The Gardens at Orangeville.
Born in Beach Haven on January 24, 1934, she was a daughter of the late George Gregory Sr. and Margaret (Guttshall) Fisher. She attended school in Beach Haven. Edna was employed by Central Columbia Food Service for over 20 years and was the head cook at Central Columbia Middle School, where she prepared over 80 breakfasts and 400 lunches daily. She was honored at the PA School Food Service Conference after being nominated for Pennsylvania School Food Service Worker of the Year.
Edna was a member of Shiloh Bible Church, Bloomsburg. She was a Gold Star Mother. Edna loved polka dancing every weekend with her husband.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Jacob Shiko and wife Kathy, Millville; stepson, Michael Jubinski, FL; granddaughter, Jessica Alisio; step grandson, Michael Jr; great grandchildren, Trinity and Ben. She also leaves behind brothers, Frank Gregory and wife Jeany, Danville; Jack Gregory and wife Dolores, Almedia; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Shiko; second husband, Bernard J. Jubinski; son, Raymond Shiko; sister, Sara Jean Hopper; and brother, George Gregory.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
