Linda M. Featherman, age 68, of Glen Lyon passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2023, at her home.
Born in Nanticoke on June 19, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Ralph S. Bowman Sr. and Fannie H. (Carter) White. She was raised and educated in the Shickshinny area. For many years, she was a school bus driver for Williams Bus Line in Wilkes-Barre.
She enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her 2 loyal dogs, Bentley and Lexi.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert J. Featherman; and Kevin Cooper Sr; brothers, Sam Edwards, Todd Edwards, Ed Edwards, and Ralph Bowman Jr.
She will be missed by her daughter, Bobbie Arias, Hernden VA; sons, Jammy Featherman and wife Dee, NC; Kevin Cooper, Wilkes-Barre; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Rita Whitemire and husband Carl, Shickshinny; brothers, Peter Edwards, TX and George Bowman, Hunlock Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
At the family’s request there will be no funeral services. Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck is assisting her family.
