Sharon A. Lamasko, age 68, of the Heights Section of Hazleton passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Hazleton on November 4, 1954, she was a daughter of the late George and Gladys (Beam) Reimiller. She graduated from Hazleton High in 1972. Most recently, Sharon was employed as a home health aide for Care Givers of American, but also worked with many private duty patients over the years.
In her younger years, she liked painting ceramics. Sharon truly enjoyed her job and working with her patients, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Nicole Lamasko and fiancé Joseph Stash, Hazle Twp; grandsons, Haden Stash; and Ethan Powlus, whom she helped raise and his significant other, Kaleena Mensinger. She is also survived by a daughter Tiffany.
She was one of 8 children, siblings include Judy, Linda, Georgette, George, David, Thomas and Robert.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lamasko, and granddaughter, Paige Stash.
At Sharon’s request, there will be no public services. Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck is assisting her family.
