Tyler W. Silver, age 25, of Danville passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Berwick on June 11, 1998, he was the only child of William D and Lisa A (Whitmire) Silver of Berwick. He was a graduate of Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, class of 2016 and was self-employed as a mechanic.
Tyler liked playing his guitars and listening to music, particularly AC/DC. He was a car enthusiast and loved his ’71 Buick Skylark. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially when they could all sit around the firepit and talk for hours.
In addition to his parents, he will be greatly missed by his wife of 2 years, Kayla M (Erdman) Silver; his fur-baby, “Holley”; aunts and uncles, Brenda and Byron Erdman, Yulee, FL; Lori and Vaughn Titus, Nescopeck; William Whitmire, Nescopeck; Christine and Jim Holloway, Berwick; Donna and Wade Fisher, Berwick; Matt Tyson, DE; cousins, Brandon, Madyson, Remington, Billy, Amber, Jason, Brittany, Luke, Corinna, Stephanie, and Cabyn. He also leaves behind mother and father-in-law, Lori Erdman and John “Butch” Swank, Coal Twp; sister and brothers-in-law, Briana Erdman and Renzo Natal, Sunbury; Cody Erdman, Coal Twp; Johnny Swank, Bloomsburg; niece, Adalyn Erdman; and gram-in-law, Cynthia Himmelreich.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Sr and Mae (Billig) Whitmire; Donald and Elaine (Sweppenheiser) Silver; an aunt, Rhonda Tyson; and uncle, Bruce Serafin.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later time.
