Jane E. Eveland, age 86, of Berwick passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Glen Brook Rehab with her loving family by her side.
Born in Berwick on September 8, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Raymond O and Pearl I (Yost) Titman. She was raised and educated in the Berwick area. On May 12, 1962, she married Royce E Eveland. Together they raised 7 children. Jane was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her time to providing a loving home for her family.
Jane was a member of the Eagle Fire Company. She liked to crochet and made blankets to give to her children and other family members.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Constance “Connie” Herring, Berwick; Ann Hoyson, Bloomsburg; Alane Cragle and husband Brad, Beach Haven; Sara Navickis, Berwick; sons, Royce Eveland Jr and wife Wendy, Berwick; son, Mark Eveland, Bloomsburg; 13 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother, James Titman, E Rochester, NY; sisters, Gail Bridle, Berwick; Roseanne Robbins, Summerhill; and Katherine Steinruck, Bloomsburg; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Royce in 1989; son, John Eveland; sons-in-law, Harry “Butch” Herring; Ted Hoyson; and John Navickis; sisters, Gloria Titman; Yvonne “Bonnie” Butz; brothers, Raymond Titman; Carroll Titman; and Dale “Butch” Titman.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
