Kathleen “Kathy” Seely, age 75, of Nescopeck passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at her home with her loving husband and family by her side.
Born in Berwick on June 7, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Joseph L and Leona M (Zimolzak) Villa. She attended Berwick Area School, graduating in 1966. She met the love of her life Alan in 1984, and they married on May 21, 2004.
She worked at Lady Ester in Berwick for over 25 years, retiring in 2010, to become a homemaker, cook, and baker. She also dedicated time to caring for her cats, which she loved. Kathy valued her family and friends, and always put others’ happiness before her own.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Alan D. Seely, with whom she spent the past 39 years; son, Joseph Lutz; sister, Andrea Matash; many nieces and nephews; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Suzanne Clark; niece, Joselle McMurtrie; and stepson, Andrew Seely; brother-in-law, Larry Matash.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
