Raymond Bores returned to the Lord October 31, 2023.
Born in Berwick, on December 8, 1941. He is preceded in death by his parents Michael Kalanick Bores and Betty Jeanne (Comstock) Bores; sister, Beverley Ann Bores Fedder; and grandson, Matthew D. Herring.
He will be missed by his daughter, Michalene Bores; grandchildren, Randy W. Sitler, Amber R. (Fox) Cruz, Samantha Fox, and 12 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his longtime partner, Donna Folk.
Ray was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved the outdoors. He worked for the fish commission in his early age. He was also an accomplished welding inspector and teacher. Later in life, he worked tirelessly to clean and help develop Test Track Park and was awarded a commendation. He also developed the machinery for a line of fishing lures.
Rest easy dad, I will miss you.
Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Heller Funeral Home, LLC Nescopeck is entrusted with arrangements.
