Born October 10, 1943, to the late John Howard and Elizabeth (Beth) Russel, Kenneth John Russel passed away on Friday Nov. 3rd at 11:05 AM at the age of 80.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia; four sons, John P Russell, Kenneth J Russel, Samuel T. Russel, Andrew N Russel; two daughters, Karin M Martin, Catherine S Lovett; seventeen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister Judith, his brother Richard, and grandson John Paul Howard Russell Jr.
Kenneth had a successful career as a regional manager in the finance industry for over thirty years. He will be remembered for his love of barbershop quartet, as well as for his skills as a tennis, and table tennis player. Ken will be missed by his favorite four-legged friend, Scarlett. Most importantly, he was a follower of Jesus, and made his best effort to raise his children to know God.
A celebration of life service for friends and family will be held Saturday November 11, 2023, from 4-6 pm at Christian Covenant Community Church, 818 Winding Rd, Shickshinny, PA presided over by Pastor Jesse Shingler.
