Robert Holloway, age 66, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday December 14, 2023, at Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Tamaqua.
Born in Ephrata, on December 17, 1956, he was the son of the late Richard and Sandra (Zentmyer) Holloway. After graduating from Berwick High School, he furthered his education at Lehigh University where he majored in Computer Programming and Math, graduating in 1976. Robert was a jack of all trades, including Master tech mechanic, certified electrician, and plumber. He worked at Toyota for many years. He also built and repaired stationary steam engines with Robert Lindquist.
Robert spent most of his years living in Beach Haven, he was a Scout master for the boy scouts. He was a former member of the Beach Haven Church. In his free time, he enjoyed drawing, putting together model cars, he also had a green thumb and loved to garden. He loved camping and going to Rehoboth Beach with family. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and shooting his golden eagle compound bow during archery season. He especially enjoyed his annual hunting trip with his brother, Ricky, and buddy, Larry Greenberg at Bill Kissinger Farm and Orchards in Beach Haven.
He will be greatly missed by his sons, Robert Holloway, Berwick; Cody and wife Amber Holloway, Berwick; Adam and wife Agga, Rhode Island; daughter, Heather Collie and spouse Tami, Benton; grandchildren, Henry, James, Ava, Myleigh, Nova, Aspen, Hudson, Anna, Corbin, Kaleb; brother, Rick and wife Ann Holloway, Allentown; sisters, Tammy Peters, Plainville CT; and Tina and husband Enzo Ferro, CO; and several nieces and nephews including, Amanda, Avery, Pace, Richard, Matthew and Shelby.
Family will receive friends on December 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck.
