Donna J. Kile, age 71, of Berwick passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 31, 2024, at her home.
Born in Berwick on May 10, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Sarah L. (McAfee) and James E. Vought Sr. She was a graduate of Berwick High School and earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration through Luzerne County Community College. Donna worked at K-Fab for many years, then was employed at several local businesses. She retired from Fine Wine and Good Spirits in Berwick.
She was a member of Berwick Christian Church and later attended Berwick Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was deeply spiritual and read her Bible every day. Donna enjoyed knitting. She was a talented artist, who created several paintings and cross-stitch pieces, which she displayed throughout her house. She liked spending time with her family and made it a point to keep in touch with friends and relatives who live outside of the area.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, JoAnna Honse, Bloomsburg; Justin Honse, Valrico, FL; grandchildren, Cody, Eva, and Abby; brothers, James Vought Jr; David W. Vought; Dennis A. Vought and wife Cindy; Richard L. Vought; sisters, Sandra L. Yachimowski; Terry A. McMurtrie and husband Kelly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
