Bonnie L. Farver, age 75, passed away on Saturday June 1, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Berwick, on February 17, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Warren S. and Myrtle R. (Uplinger) Knecht. She was a graduate of Central Columbia Highschool, class of 1967. In her younger years she was a dispatcher at K-Cab. She later became a dedicated full-time mother, working hard to provide a loving home to her child and husband.
She was an active member at Hetlerville United Methodist Church. Many knew Bonnie through her volunteer work as Executive Director of Columbia County Historical and Genealogical Society, Miffinlinville Village Community and the Mifflin Cemetery. She had a very extensive history of Genealogy about her family and loved helping others with theirs.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Michael C. Farver, and brother-in-law, James R. McClintock.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald M. Farver who passed away in 2017, her daughter-in-law, Nikitah Farver and her sister Robin McClintock.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third St, Nescopeck with Pastor Joshua Yorks officiating. Interment will follow in Mifflinville Cemetery, Mifflinville. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.
