Rose A. Brown, age 71, of Berwick passed away on Friday December 6, 2024, at Glenbrook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Born in Berwick on September 4, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Rosie (DeFelice) Ipher. She graduated from Berwick High School. Rose worked for the Columbia County Aging Office for 25 years, which she really enjoyed. For the last 30 years before retiring, Rose was a paraprofessional for the Berwick School District.
Rose has been attending the Berwick Salvation Army her whole life. She loved nothing more than socializing and getting together with her group of girls.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Hayley M Sassaman and husband Sam, Orangeville; sister, Donna Levan and companion John Streussnig; nieces and nephews, Amber M. Naus and husband Patrick; Todd Ipher, Vanessa Taylor and husband Randy; Alyssa Travelpiece and husband Corey; a great niece and great nephews, Logan Loveless, Bayleigh Naus, and Liam Taylor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Randy G. Brown; and her sister, Betty Ipher.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on December 11, 2024, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E. Third Street, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
