Devoted mother, Enjoyed Music and Travelling
Andrea M. (Chamberlain) Ridall, 48 years young, passed away on Saturday, December 7th, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after losing her courageous 2 plus year battle with cancer.
Born in Bloomsburg on October 7th, 1976, she was the dedicated daughter of Melva J. (Allen) Chamberlain and the late Larry R. Chamberlain. She was a graduate of Berwick Area High School, class of 1996. She worked mostly in the service industry waitressing at the likes of Bonanza and Bandits, to name a few. She was also employed for a time at Berwick Industries and Decorator Industries. After her father fell ill, she felt a calling toward the medical field. She attended and graduated from Allied Medical Institute (Medical Assistant) and LCCC (CNA and phlebotomy). She was most recently employed at Pediatric Specialty Care in Danville. Her strength, courage and work ethic were on display as she continued working throughout her treatments, determined to make a difference.
Andrea was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Berwick and more recently also enjoyed attending Berwick Assembly of God. Music was an integral part of her life, having met her future husband at one of his earliest band gigs. She supported Steve as he worked in various bands throughout their years together. They also attended many concerts and music related events together. She absolutely loved traveling, especially when that traveling resulted in warm weather and beach stays.
She was a deeply devoted mother to her children, Davin and Saylor. As the children remained very active, she enjoyed attending their many sports, music, dance and competitive cheer events and was proud of their academic achievements. She was, without a doubt, their biggest fan and they were the light of her life. She had hoped to become a devoted grandmother in the years ahead.
In addition to her mother, she will be greatly missed by her husband, Stephen Ridall, with whom she had spent the past 25 years; son, Davin S. Ridall and daughter, Saylor L. Ridall; Danyelle Conner (husband Ronald), Wapwallopen; Jessica Chamberlain, Bloomsburg; brother-in-law, Joseph Ridall; nieces and nephews; Sarah, Savanah, Damian, Brittany, Joshua, Christian and Aiden; and mother-in-law, Margaret “Peggy” Ridall.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Doyle L. Ridall.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13th, 2024, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 663 E. Third St., Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick. Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
