Melody D. Fuller, age 66, passed away on Monday December 9, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Nanticoke on July 1, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Helen (Makar) Tensa. She was a graduate of Columbia Montour Area Vocational Technical School, class of 1976. She owned her own pet store and grooming shop called “Hair of the Dog” for 25 years, as well as “Jagger’s Doggy Deli”, for the last 30 years, which was her passion.
Melody was a member of the Mastiff Club of America. She truly loved animals and taking care of them. She was a breeder of English Mastiffs, and also trained and showed her own dogs.
She will be greatly missed by her husband David R. Fuller with whom she would have celebrated 49 years of marriage this month; daughter, Jessica Search and husband Ryan, Beach Haven; grandson, Ronald Fuller and wife Samantha, Bloomsburg; and several cousins with that she had a close relationship with.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Tensa.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on December 16, 2024, at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck.
