John Greer Crisman, age 76, of Mifflinville, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025.
Born on November 22, 1948, he was the son of John “Arnold” and Phyllis Crisman of Berwick. John graduated from Berwick High School and later attended Parson’s College.
In his younger years, he proudly earned his pilot’s license, embracing the freedom of the skies. A true history enthusiast, John held a particular passion for the Civil War. This interest led to many cherished family trips to historical sites, creating lasting memories for all.

Together with his father, John built Arnold’s Golf Course, a testament to their shared vision and hard work. For forty years, he poured his heart and soul into managing and owning the course until this past year when he entrusted it to a close family friend, ensuring its legacy would continue.
John was preceded in death by his stillborn son, Patrick, and his beloved wife, Linda (Martz) Crisman, whose memory he held dear.
He is survived by his children: Brent Crisman and his wife Shanna (Ross) Crisman, and their three children, Dustin, Charlee, and Phillip; and JC Crisman and his wife Paula (Lesnefsky) Crisman, and their son John.
