Iva Stout, born July 30,1935 in Berwick, PA, age 89, of Shickshinny, PA, passed away peacefully at home April 17, 2025.
She was welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband, Jim (Filmore) Stout; along with her cherished siblings: Millard Garrison, William Garrison, Paul Garrison, MaryAlice Seigfried, Laura Gensel, LucyMay Garrison; and her parents Irvin and Maude Garrison.
Iva’s legacy of love is carried on by her devoted sons, Mark Stout and Michael Stout, both of Shickshinny. She is also lovingly remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several other family and friends.
Throughout her life, Iva was a beacon of unwavering faith and an embodiment of love for her family and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and engaging in activities that brought her joy. Iva was a proud member of TOPS for many years, renowned for her exceptional sewing and crocheting skills. Her warm spirit and generous nature made her a beloved member of the Shickshinny Valley Church, where she cherished her connections with her community.
Iva’s vibrant personality and kind heart touched the lives of many, and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
At the family’s request, there will be no services.
