Helen J. Wynings

Helen J. Wynings, age 92, passed away on Monday July 7, 2025, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation, Danville.

Born in Berwick on May 10, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Harry D. and Lucielle (Kishbaugh) Jamison. She was a graduate of Nescopeck High School, class of 1951. In her younger years, she worked for Hippenstiel’s Grocery and Restaurant, and later for a flower shop and ShopRite in Hatboro. Before retiring, she was employed at Kmart in Berwick for 19 years. After retirement, she worked at the Bloomsburg Fair in the Arts and Crafts building.

Helen attended Berwick Bible Church and was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed motorcycle and horseback riding. She was an avid reader and liked doing the puzzles in the paper. She loved going on bus trips to different places and events.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Theodore “Ted” Wynings; sister, Gail Massina; and daughter-in-law, Dorothy Drumheller.

She will be greatly missed by her sons, James Drumheller and wife Barbara, Honeybrook; Mark Drumheller, Webster, NY; and daughter, Jan Hook and husband Bill, Indiana; 3 grandchildren, Adam Drumheller and wife Ingrid; Tiffany Gilmore and husband Richie; and Jeremy Brittain; 5 great grandchildren, Madison and Brayden Drumheller, Charleigh, Emme and Sophia Gilmore.

A private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Heller Funeral Home LLC, Nescopeck is assisting her family.
