Patricia T. Mowery, age 86, of Berwick passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Geisinger Bloomsburg. She was surrounded by her family.
Born in Chester, PA on April 5, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Gertrude (Dixon) Mignognia. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Moreland, PA, class of 1957. For many years, she worked at Bonham Shirt Factory and retired from Berwick School District, where she worked in the cafeteria.
Patricia loved entertaining her family and hosting the holiday meals. She enjoyed baking especially with her grandchildren and was known for her famous banana bread, also loving known as “Mam-Mam bread”. She found enjoyment creating a home full of warmth and nourishment for all who entered. She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A. Mowery in 1987; a son, Dwayne Mowery at birth; and her brother, Salvatore Mignognia.
She is survived by her beloved children, Carol Laning Rachael, Nescopeck; Ronnie Mowery and wife Cassandra, Berwick; David Mowery, Berwick; Brian Mowery and wife Amanda, Muncy; cherished grandchildren, Valerie Everett and husband Thomas; Michael Mowery and wife Heidi; Ronna Jaffin and husband Matthew; Samantha Richart; Megan Lazar and husband Zachery; and Brandon Mowery; and 9 adored great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her twin sister, Josephine Heiter, Prospect Park, PA; sister, Sheila Horne, Danville, PA, many nieces and nephews; and a large circle of friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on November 1, 2025, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick. Family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of service.
